Here it is February Already!!

Landscape Paintings

Here is an article sent to me to share:

10 Artists

Notes From the Studio

This has been quite a year so far. My mother passed away two weeks ago and my sisters and our family have been trying to get through all of the paperwork and other issues that come with losing a parent. I've not been able to paint very much but I have been doing a few little Color Fields paintings. They are a series I go back to from time to time. I've always been a big fan of Mark Rothko's Color Field paintings, so I get my inspiration for these studies from him.

I'll be heading off to Wekiva State Park in March 7-12 for my favorite paint out of the year. It is my favorite because we live in the state park for a week, coming and going to paint as we please. I'll have some paintings to share from that event when I get back.

Art Lover Salons

Plan an Art Lover Salon at my Loft Studio with friends. Click the link above to see more.

I'll report in after I return from Wekiva.
